I've been blessed by having the opportunity to travel, for work and pleasure, to 60+ different countries and experienced the global diversity in cultures, art and cuisine. Philosophically, I feel compelled to share these experiences through my work.
This has led me to create a series of companies with the mission to educate, entertain and inspire anyone who is willing and wanting to learn. Since opening Inspired Art Wine in 2016, over 29,000 guests have experienced the "Inspired Effect" from our art and wine classes. All came as customers, but most leave as friends.
In 2018, the idea of Inspired Somm was born to bring a more approachable wine education to the modern wine enthusiast. In 2021, after emerging from a challenging year from the global pandemic, the release of this wine collection was a natural progression to expand the Inspired brand.
I hope to inspire others that anything is possible through relentless grit, determination and creativity. Cheers!
Wine and art have a lot in common as both require passion and creativity to produce a quality product. As someone who has always paid close attention to details, I wanted to introduce a wine that wasn't just high quality, but approachable on the palate and reasonably priced particularly for the art wine enthusiast. Most bottles are thrown away after it's been finished, but the consumer has a compelling reason to keep it since it's also art! Each label is a varnished print from one of my original paintings (ranging from 4-6 feet) and tells a story of my motherland, Vietnam.
Working with a winemaker in Napa Valley, my aim is to use only the best quality wine barrels to age the wines. We used 60-gallon French oak barrels to make the finest wine: Quercus Petraea and Quercus Robur are the two types of white oak grown in France. When it was time for bottling, we used natural corks to protect the wine from oxidation while enabling optimum oxygen transfer needed for wine to mature. Natural cork is also 100% renewable, recyclable and biodegradable.
