Inspired to Create, Driven to Inspire

These are the words I've lived by and led me to create various businesses around inspiration.

’ve been blessed with the opportunity to travel to 60+ countries for both work and pleasure, experiencing the incredible diversity of cultures, art, cuisine, and traditions around the world. These experiences have profoundly shaped how I see the world—and inspired me to share that perspective through my work.

That philosophy led me to create a series of companies with one simple mission: educate, entertain, and inspire.

Since opening Inspired Art Wine in 2016, more than 40,000 guests have experienced the “Inspired Effect” through our art and wine classes. They may have arrived as customers, but many have left as friends.

In 2018, Inspired Somm was born from my desire to make wine education more approachable and engaging for the modern wine enthusiast. Then, in 2021, after navigating an incredibly challenging year for all of us, launching my own wine collection became a natural next step in expanding the Inspired brand.

For me, creativity has never been limited to one canvas, one business, or one passion. It’s about following curiosity, embracing challenges, and turning ideas into something meaningful.

I hope my journey reminds others that anything is possible with grit, determination, creativity, and a willingness to pursue what inspires you.

More Than a Bottle

Wine and art have much in common. Both require passion, creativity, craftsmanship, and an appreciation for the details that transform quality ingredients into something meaningful.

As someone who has always been attentive to the details, I wanted to create a wine that was not only high quality, but also approachable on the palate and reasonably priced—particularly for the art and wine enthusiast. But I also wanted the experience to extend beyond the wine itself.

Most wine bottles are discarded once the last drop is enjoyed. I wanted to create a bottle worth keeping because it is also a piece of art. Each label is a varnished print made from one of my original paintings—works ranging from four to six feet in size—and each tells a story inspired by my motherland, Vietnam.

Working with a winemaker in Napa Valley, my goal was to craft wines using exceptional barrels and thoughtful winemaking techniques. We aged the wines in 60-gallon French oak barrels made from two traditional French white oak species, Quercus petraea and Quercus robur, selected for their ability to contribute depth, complexity, and elegance to the wine.

When it came time for bottling, we chose natural corks to help protect the wine from oxidation while allowing the gradual oxygen transfer that can support the wine's development over time. Natural cork is also renewable, recyclable, and biodegradable.

Ultimately, Inspired Vineyards is where my two passions—art and wine—come together. Each bottle is meant to be enjoyed, appreciated, and, when the wine is gone, kept as a work of art that continues to tell its story.
